Exploring the Metropolis and the Turtle Bay Music School present Juan Pablo Contreras’ Silencio en Juárez CD Release Concert. Kristi Shade (harp), Sergio Sandí (piano), Tema Watstein (violin), and Adrían Sandí (clarinet) will perform selections from Contreras’ award-winning works Silencio en Juárez, La más Remota Prehistoria, and Ángel Mestizo.

About the CD:

Silencio en Juárez features Contreras’ award-winning works Silencio en Juárez, La más Remota Prehistoria, and Ángel Mestizo. The New York City-based Claremont Avenue Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Kyle Ritenauer, and harpist Kristi Shade perform on this album. An Albany Records release, Silencio en Juárez was recorded at the Greenfield Hall of the Manhattan School of Music, and mixed and mastered by GRAMMY Award-winning engineer Adam Abeshouse.
