The Emerson String Quartet has an unparalleled list of achievements over three decades: more than thirty acclaimed recordings, nine Grammys® (including two for Best Classical Album), three Gramophone Awards, the Avery Fisher Prize, Musical America’s “Ensemble of the Year” and collaborations with many of the greatest artists of our time. This is an excellent opportunity to hear them with their new cellist, Paul Watkins.

This concert is made possible by a generous underwriting gift from Lydia and Ted Kronfeld. Additional funding has been provided by Janie and Earl Funk, Pam and Terry Carter, Ray Feldman in memory of Nancy Feldman, and Phil Haney in memory of Elise “Kitch” Laenger.
