Concert celebrating composers from Queens with music from diverse styles, from classical to jazz,

ragtime to film music to music with influences of Jewish and Latin American music. Pieces will include two works commissioned by the quintet last year: Daniel Ott's Variable Winds and Harold Gutierrez new Memory Project piece Retrospectives

This concert is part of the Quintet's Chamber Music America residency. The residency, organized in partnership with Rockaway Artists Alliance, Belle Harbor School P.S. 114, West End Temple, Rockaway Waterfront Alliance and Beacon Rehab and Nursing Center has been made possible with support from Chamber Music America with funds from its Residency Endowment Fund.
