Music by composers from Queens, NY representing styles from contemporary to jazz to ragtime to film music with Jewish and Latino influences. Pieces include two works commissioned last year by the Quintet: Daniel Ott's Variable Winds and Harold Gutierrez' Memory Project work Retrospectives.

This program is part of the Quintet's Chamber Music America Residency organized in partnership with Rockaway Artists Alliance, Belle Harbor School P.S. 114, Rockaway Waterfront Alliance, West End Temple, Beacon Rehab and Nursing Center and has been made possible with support from Chamber Music America through its Residency Endowment Fund.
