THE BOREAL TRIO clarinet, viola, and piano

The Boreal Trio comprises three international competition laureates, all passionately dedicated to the art of chamber music, in particular this compelling combination of instruments. Uriel Vanchestein, clarinet; Juan Miguel Hernandez, viola; and Gabriela Martinez, piano, have respectively won top prizes at the Geneva, Brahms, and Anton Rubinstein international competitions. This will a return engagement for Mr Hernandez, whose dazzling viola playing was heard two seasons ago with the Harlem Quartet.
