Opening Night: Stravinsky, Harold Meltzer and Tchaikovsky

PCMF oboist Peggy Pearson brings us her own arrangement of Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite to kick off our 21^st Season. Composer and Pulitzer Prize finalist Harold Meltzer also joins us for the World Premiere of his Air and Angels, written for Ms. Pearson. We conclude the evening with Tchaikovsky’s rousing and virtuosic Souvenir di Florence.
