Asheville Percussion Festival 2014

A fresh ensemble, comprised of about 15 international touring artists and professional percussionists, representing diverse cultures and traditions, will collaborate together during a 4 day residency, June 16-19th, arranging and rehearsing new material composed by the guest artists for the Ensemble for the festival. The developed pieces will be featured in 2 downtown concerts on Friday and Saturday, at 8pm, June 20-21st at the beautiful Diana Wortham Theatre, followed by another public performance on Sunday afternoon, June 22nd at The OM Sanctuary. There are also inspiring workshops available to the public during the afternoons of the entire weekend and at both locations.
