Opening Night

The 2017 Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival will present its opening night concert on Saturday, June 10 at Seligman Performing Arts Center in Beverly Hills, MI. The concert will feature the Founding Artistic Director and pianist James Tocco alongside Lauren Skuce, the Calidore String Quartet, Paul Watkins and the Emerson String Quartet with music that celebrates our overall programmatic theme, "Music and Words." They will perform works by Franck, Chausson and Mendelssohn, highlighting the connections between music and the written word throughout the centuries.
