Jupiter Quartet

The “rich-toned” Jupiter Quartet (New York Times) has established itself as one of the nation’s eminent ensembles. Frequently heard at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, this “exemplary” quartet brings “verve and polish” (Washington Post) to whatever it performs – which here includes Beethoven’s profound Quartet, op. 127, Janáček’s passionate Quartet No. 2 (“Intimate Letters”), and a piano quintet (New York premiere)  by Pierre Jalbert, “an acknowledged chamber-music master” (New Yorker) performed with pianist Aaron Wunsch.
