Pro Musica Presents the New York Woodwind Quintet

Pro Musica presents the New York Woodwind Quintet (NYWQ) on Thursday, January 26^that First Presbyterian Church, 509 S Pearl, in Joplin.  One of the oldest continuously active chamber ensembles in the US, NYWQ continues to maintain an active concert presence around the world while also teaching and mentoring the next generation of woodwind performers. Unique among all woodwind quintets touring today, the quintet is comprised of artists dedicated to chamber music yet who are individually known as soloists with far-ranging careers. Current members of NYWQ are Carol Wincenc (flute), Charles Neidich (clarinet), Stephen Taylor (oboe), Marc Goldberg (bassoon), and William Purvis (French horn).
