Sonnambula Thevibrant renaissance ensemble known for their lush playing and innovative programs, will open Baruch Performing Arts Center’s BPAC 2016-17 chamber music series with Renaissance Ghosts: A Hallowe’en Masquerade, a program of spritely songs and witches dancesfrom Tudor England, following their recent appearances at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Frick Collection. Sonnambula features rarely heard work and this program includes pieces by Nicholas le Strange, Anthony Holborne, and Henry VIII himself.
