Chamber Music Workshop

For woodwind, brass, string, piano and guitar players, ages 6 to 18

Held at La Salle Academy, 215 E. 6th Street, New York, NY, 10003

This two-week workshop is designed for students who wish to advance their skills in chamber music while enjoying summertime camaraderie. Students rehearse and perform in carefully-assigned ensembles with repertoire based on skill level and age. Each group receives two hours of coaching per day, as well as supervised practice. Master classes, led by faculty and visiting artists, provide in-depth feedback that ranges from musicianship skills to performance interpretation. Quality instruction and the opportunity for intensive learning are balanced with recreational activities, field trips and concert-going.
