Diversity in Music

A presentation on the inclusioon of more diversified music in school music programs.  Music selected for inclusion for performance and study should reflect the increased diversity in the student population.  The presentation will include audio samples, brief history, and score samples of the music of great composers who have not received the recognition as the traditional european composers.  Attendees will have the opportunity to see, hear, and play a variety of styles from classical to jazz.
