2015 Next Generation Jazz Festival

Running from March 27-29, 2015, the annual Next Generation Jazz Festival Judges Concert begins at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, at the Monterey Conference Center’s Serra Ballroom. This concert will feature performances by internationally-renowned artists and Next Generation Jazz Festival competition judges, including trumpeter Terell Stafford; saxophonists Mary Fettig and Joel Frahm; pianist Helen Sung; guitarist Bruce Forman; bassist Ray Drummond; trombonist Luis Bonilla; drummer Matt Wilson; vocalists Michelle Weir and Mardra Thomas, and others. Also included is a special pre-concert performance by the Marika Galea Quartet from Berklee College of Music.

General admission to the concert is free to the public and is expected to be standing room only.
