Flute & Piano Duos from the Old World & the New

The duo “2” (Peter H. Bloom, flute and Mary Jane Rupert, piano) will perform Chamber Music from the Old World and the New, September 24, 2013 at 7:30 pm at the Harper College Performing Arts Center.  The concert will include Sonata in A Major, BWV 1032 by J.S. Bach, the magnificent Theme and Variations Opus 160 by Franz Schubert, Aaron Copland's Duo (1971), and Kleemation (2003) by Elizabeth Vercoe (recently published on http://www.noteworthysheetmusic.com  Vercoe has been called "one of the most inventive composers working in America today" The Washington Post.
