Lionheart, "Laude: Joy & Mystery"

The six men of audience-favorite Lionheart return to Milwaukee with Laude: Joy and Mystery.  Saturday, December 13 at 5:00 and Sunday, December 14at 3:00at St. Joseph Center Chapel (1501 S Layton Blvd). The “Laudario” of the title is a priceless 13th-century manuscript that contains the earliest surviving music of the Italian devotional song tradition. Lionheart combines this very early chant-like repertoire with later styles that grew out of it, culminating in the sublime harmonies of Renaissance composer Innocentius Dammonis, first published in Venice in 1508.
